Dwight Price has been promoted to Branch Manager, replacing John Kostyo who retired from Gilbert Electric at the end of February. He will be responsible for managing Gilbert Electric and leading their efforts to service Southern Arizona in providing electrical construction with the highest level of quality and safety.
In his position as Senior Project Manager, Price shadowed John Kostyo, his predecessor, who tailored him as the perfect fit for his new position as Branch Manager. Kostyo worked in the construction industry for nearly 50 years with 37 of them being at Gilbert Electric. Kostyo being owner and president of Gilbert Electric, made the decision to join forces with Cannon & Wendt in February of last year.
Alongside Kostyo, Price has helped Gilbert Electric and Cannon & Wendt tremendously in their recent merging of companies. With a change in management and the task of integrating Cannon & Wendt’s practices, Price helped ensure that the transition ran smoothly while continuing to uphold and expand on Gilbert Electric’s values and customer relationships. “Dwight’s commitment to the electrical industry shines through in all he does from instructing apprentices, managing complex electrical projects, and running a division. We are confident that under Dwight’s leadership, Gilbert Electric will continue to grow and service the Tucson valley for years to come,” said Cannon & Wendt President Shane Snyder.
Dwight Price brings with him 24 years of experience in the construction industry. He has developed his career with Cannon & Wendt for the last 9 years, helping with the recent merging of Phoenix based subcontractor Cannon & Wendt and Tucson’s Gilbert Electric. Price currently serves as a Board Member and Treasurer for NECA’s Southern Arizona Chapter. Price also sits on Cannon & Wendt’s Charity Committee, dedicated to giving back to both the Phoenix and Tucson community who has supported our company for nearly 80 years.
